Sed Zangana

Sarcout “Sed” Zangana, born and raised in San Diego, is a staff attorney at Silverado in Irvine, California. Sed earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University, where he held positions as Vice President and Community Service Chair of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and participated in the Kurdish American Students Organization.

Sed later obtained his Juris Doctor from Arizona Summit Law School. During his time in law school, Sed received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his top performances in Real Estate Transactions, International Law, and Civil Rights – Discrimination. He was also active in student leadership as Vice President of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association and Public Relations Chair of the National Lawyers Guild.

Sed has previously served as Chair of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Committee on Diversity & Inclusion and remains active in the legal community as a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and the San Diego County Bar Association.
