Kaveh Newmen is the Founding Partner of Newmen Law, P.C., a full-service law firm specializing in high-stakes civil litigation, criminal defense, immigration, and personal injury. With a reputation for resolving multimillion-dollar disputes and managing legal compliance for some of the world’s largest music festivals, Kaveh has built a dynamic practice that serves clients across California and beyond.

A first-generation Iranian-American, Kaveh brings a global perspective to his legal work, having gained international legal experience in Prague and developed cutting-edge legal technologies. He has pioneered eMiranda, a criminal law AI program and mobile app, and holds patents in blockchain ticketing and functional mushroom extraction technologies. His forward-thinking approach to legal practice and technology makes him a leader in the evolving legal landscape.

Kaveh earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he served as a board member of the Criminal Law Society and Immigration Law Society. He graduated cum laude from UC Irvine, earning a B.A. in Criminology, Law, and Society, and was recognized on the Dean’s Honor Roll while also excelling as a scholar-athlete.

Before founding Newmen Law, Kaveh honed his litigation skills at Edlin Gallagher Huie + Blum, where he specialized in business law, cryptocurrency, cannabis law, and transportation litigation. His passion for criminal defense was further cultivated during his time at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, where he worked closely with indigent defendants, gaining invaluable courtroom experience.
